Rajni Bector is the founder of Mrs Bectors Food Specialties Limited and Cremica Group of Companies.
Rajni Bector was born in 1940 in Karachi and raised in Lahore. Following the partition, her family relocated to Delhi.
She tied the knot with Dharamveer Bector at the young age of 17. She received her education from Miranda House, Delhi University.
Rajni Bector launched a small business venture with an initial investment of Rs 20,000.
She entered the world of business when the whole realm was dominated by men. As a woman, she faced numerous challenges in the early stages of her journey.
Rajni Bector had started the ice cream production business from her house in Ludhiana. Gradually, she diversified her business.
Over the years, she came to be known as the Ice Cream Lady of India.
To meet the rising demand for the products, numerous manufacturing units were established across the country.
By 2023, the value of Mrs Bectors Food Specialities Limited reached Rs 6681 crore.
