Things to keep in mind before attending the Republic Day Parade

Here is a list of all those items that are prohibited from the Republic Day celebrations.

Carrying food items to the parade is not allowed.

Water bottles

Refrain from carrying water bottles, including flasks and plastic water bottles, to the parade.

Carry a simple car key

Do not carry special remote control car keys.

Hazardous items

Items such as umbrellas, belts, gunpowder, firecrackers, flares, explosive material, fuel, flammable substances, chemicals, and other hazardous items are prohibited.

Bringing binoculars, handycam, and cameras is also prohibited.

Cigarettes

You cannot bring lighters, matchsticks, cigarettes, liquor, aerosol/gel/paste etc., to the parade.

Sharp objects

Prohibited items include hammer, screwdriver, dagger, sword, sharp weapon, saw, drill, and similar objects.

Carrying any kind of bag such as a briefcase, or handbag is prohibited

Electronic devices

In addition to this, electronic devices such as tape recorder, radio, transistor, and Bluetooth are also not allowed.

Mobile phones

While mobile phones are permitted, computers, iPads, tablets, digital diaries, and laptops are prohibited.
