A wide variety of pasta is available in the market such as spaghetti, penne, fusilli, farfalle, rigatoni, and linguine.
225 gram boiled spinach
½ cup basil leaves
¼ cup parsley
¼ cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper
Boil pasta with salt and one tsp of oil. When it softens, drain the water and keep it aside.
To prepare Pesto sauce, blend spinach, basil, parsley, pine nuts, garlic, and cheese in a mixer until smooth.
Add olive oil to mixture and try to achieve a creamy consistency.
Add the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce in a large bowl. Ensure that the pasta is thoroughly coated with the sauce.
Cook the pasta on stove for 5 minutes, and add salt and pepper. Serve the pasta hot and sprinkle grated cheese on top for added flavour.
