Ramesh Rupareliya, hailing from Gujarat, earns Rs 8 crore in a year with his ghee business.
In the year 2005, Ramesh Bhai established ‘Shri Gir Gau Krishi Jatan Sanstha’ and started selling dairy products like ghee, curd, and milk.
Ghee produced from the milk of Giri cows is renowned for its health benefits.
He has studied till grade 7. In the past, he used to graze cows with a monthly income of Rs 80.
The business was unsuccessful, and the family had to sell everything.
A Jain family in Gondal generously provided him with a piece of infertile land on rent.
The onion crops earned him Rs 35 lakh. With this success, he was able to open a Gaushala (cowshed) again.
Ramesh Bhai rescues abandoned cows and extends his care to sick and elderly animals. Proper attention is given to the cows at the cowshed.
