Sai Vardhan Goud always aspired to do something for his community, as he hails from a family of farmers and is connected to his ancestral lands.

Leaving corporate job

Discontent with his corporate job in Bengaluru with a mere salary of Rs 22,000, Sai Vardhan returned to his village, Thotapalli, around 50 km from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

Family business

His family owns an 8-acre farmland where they grow mangoes and vegetables.

Starting online business

Sai realized the growing demand for organic produce in major cities and started selling their mangoes and those of other farmers online.

Creating web presence

Sai created business accounts on Instagram and Facebook and posted pictures of organically harvested mangoes. He also offered farm-to-home delivery.

Expanding business

Sai received a positive response from the buyers and planned to expand the business further. His mother is renowned for pickling, which was later upscaled into a thriving business.

New ventures

Sai launched Farm Org Foods, which retails a variety of pickles made from mangoes, ginger, lemon, and amla, among others, all sourced organically from his farm.

New hope

Starting in 2021, Sai's business now earns around Rs 3–5 lakh monthly. It also employs around 20 women, providing them with a stable source of income and financial independence.
