During his final year of graduation, Sagar, along with his college friend Binod Homagai, launched Wow Momo on August 29, 2008.
Despite his family's hostility, Sagar used his investment of Rs 30,000 and 1 table along with 2 part-time cooks to start his momo food stall in Kolkata.
The duo worked on the feedbacks by the customers and tried to diversify their menu to reach as many customers as possible. Wow Momo was established at several public areas.
The company has over 800 stores nationwide and is evaluated at Rs 2130 crore. Sagar Daryani has a net worth of over Rs 800 crores.
