Background

Sindhu Ganapathy was born in Nagercoli, a small town in Tamil Nadu. In the year 2003, she joined the Railways in Ernakulam under the Trivandrum division of Kerala.

As a transwoman, Sindhu Ganapathy endured several challenges in her career. In 2009, she was transferred to Dindigul under the Madurai division.
