1 tsp of yeast
1.5 cups of warm water
4 cups of flour
1 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
2 tbsp of olive oil
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Veggies for toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and olives)
To prepare the pizza dough, take a small bowl and mix dry yeast, water, and sugar. Set it aside for 5-10 minutes.
In another bowl, mix flour and salt. Then add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead the dough and keep it aside after covering it with a clean towel. Let it rest for 1-2 hours.
Preheat your oven to a high temperature.
Divide the dough into two equal halves. Take one portion of the dough and roll into a circle. It should be around ¼ inch thick.
Place the pizza base on a baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce evenly. Next, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and then the toppings. Finally, add chilli flakes and dry herbs.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for approximately 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Remove the pizza from the oven and slice it into pieces. Serve hot and enjoy!
