Sabarimala Verdict  

Asha Lawrence, daughter of veteran CPI(M) leader MM Lawrence, was removed from the government job after her son Milan Lawrence Emmanuel took part in the one-day fast led by BJP workers fighting the Sabarimala verdict in front of the DGP's office in Thiruvananthapuram.

Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala chief minister, through a Facebook post, appreciated Rahul Gandhi’s stand on the Sabarimala issue and also observed the difference in opinion between the central leaders and the state leaders of the Congress.

The rally was led by Rashtriya Hindu Sena (RHS) chief Pramod Muthalik and it was held from Bengaluru's Town Hall to Freedom Park, where they demanded Supreme Court to review the decision on Sabarimala.
