Division or distinction
CBSE has opted not to grant overall division or distinction in the 2024 class 10 and 12 board exams. Only subject-wise marks will be provided.

CBSE sample papers
CBSE has provided 60 sample papers for class 10 and 77 sample papers for class 12 with the corresponding marking schemes. The papers can be accessed through cbse.nic.in.

Changes in answer copies
Starting from the 2024 board exam, CBSE will no longer provide a separate answer book with tables for Accountancy. Similar to other subjects, a common answer copy will be provided.

Competitions and Olympiads
CBSE will organize separate exams for students engaged in national or international sports competitions and Olympiads.

National Education Policy (NEP)
Following the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the new curriculum framework (NCF), board examinations will be held twice a year.

Best scores
Students will have the option to retain their best scores from two exams.

Studying languages
In classes 11 and 12, students will need to study two languages, with at least one being an Indian language.
