At the age of 14, Maahi left her house and went to an orphanage in hopes to receive some support.
She was brought back to her house. Her father was extremely insensitive and cruel towards her.
Her husband was ten years older than her.
Her life in her in-laws’ house was even more traumatizing. She was subjected to domestic violence.
Maahi wanted to give her kids a happy and fulfilling life. She realized that she deserved better in life and so filed for a divorce.
Today, she is an independent single mother and serves as a powerful inspiration for all the women out there.
