During an internship, Rohit Manglik had the opportunity of meeting the former President, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. This meeting left a profound impact on him.
Rohit founded his first startup that focused on web development. By the third year of his college, he was earning a monthly income of Rs 4 to 5 lakh.
Rohit sought inspiration from Dr Kalam and ventured into another business. He decided to establish a career counselling startup in Lucknow.
Rohit could not make his startups successful, and subsequently, secured a job with an annual package of Rs 42 lakh.
When Rohit visited his alma mater school, he was greeted by a group of curious students. They sought advice on how to prepare for government job exams.
Rohit learned that a significant number of students were applying for government jobs every year. He saw the potential to initiate a venture in this field.
With a small team of 5 to 7 people, he launched his business.
Rohit named his company ‘EduGorilla.’ The company creates educational content for competitive exam preparation, offering the lessons in both online and offline modes.
EduGorilla operates in seven states, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and West Bengal.
