Mohammad Arbaaz grew up in Karaipersurai, Nalanda, Bihar. His father, Shakeel Ahmad used to sell eggs on a handcart and earned a daily income Rs 100 to 200.

Arbaaz has six siblings. The family lived in a dilapidated ancestral home that could not repaired due to lack of money.

Initially, Arbaaz’s father worked as a radio repairer. He could not make a decent income from the occupation and decided to sell eggs instead.

Arbaaz’s father, Shakeel had a routine of reading the daily newspaper. One day, he came across an article about Anand Kumar’s Super 30 in the newspaper.

The father-son due visited Anand Kumar, and Arbaaz appeared for Super 30’s exams. He topped in them and this proved to be a significant moment in his life.
