In 2010, Salman Khan proved to the world that he has a heart of gold by donating his bone marrow to a little girl named Pooja, which saved her life.
A fan on a show requested Salman Khan to help with his daughter's critical blood disease as she required an urgent bone marrow transplant to survive.
The fan also urged the audience to register for the bone marrow registry. He requested Salman to visit the Allurwar Hospital for help with the registry.
Salman was happy to help and said, "Sure, done, dear. I mean, because I have already tested my bone marrow."
"I don’t know if it matches or if it’s compatible with hers, but if it does, it’s all yours. It’s all hers," he added.
Salman Khan is known for his several acts of kindness. In 2007, Salman founded the Being Human Foundation which aims to help the underprivileged in India.
