Hundreds of women protested against the Sabarimala verdict in Chennai
 

The protesters marched to Kerala House to submit a memorandum but the police were not ready to let them in.

Sabarimala tantri said that he would meet the Kerala government representatives only after knowing the government’s decision on filing a review plea against the verdict.

Hundreds of people gathered near Bengaluru's Sri Muthyalamma Devi temple for a prayer walk to save Sabarimala temple tradition.

The Nair Service Society, on Thursday, said it would file a review petition in the Supreme Court against its order permitting women of all age groups to enter the Lord Ayyappa temple at Sabarimala.

The central leaders of the Congress support the Supreme Court verdict. But on the contrary, party leaders of the state are planning on launching a hunger strike against the verdict.

 

Till another law is passed, we will have to follow the Supreme Court verdict, said Pinarayi Vijayan.

Several Ayyappa devotees blocked state and national highways in various parts of Kerala to protest against the recent Supreme Court verdict on women’s entry into the temple.
