Vicky Kaushal has a special success mantra to combat his newfound stardom 

The film is based on the 2016 Indian Army's surgical strikes on terror launch pads in Pakistan as a retaliation for the Uri attack that claimed the lives of 17 army personnel. The film features Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.

Yami Gautam was talking on the sidelines of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2019 where she walked the ramp for Delhi-based based designer duo Gauri and Nainika.

The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held in Allahabad, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who presided over the meeting, told reporters.

After watching the movie, Defence Minister raised the slogan 'How is the josh?' to which army veterans responded with a 'High Sir'.

Yami Gautam, who plays an intelligence officer in the film, says the movie's backbone was the Indian Army but it was driven by strong sentiments.

The film, based on 2016 surgical strikes, has earned a little over Rs 115 crore till Monday and is going strong in the international market as well.

 Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday interacted with the filmmakers and actors of Uri: The surgical strike and congratulated the cast for having made a 'slick war movie on the spirit of our heroes'.
