Third phase of polling begins today in 13 states and 2 Union Territories on Tuesday.

117 constituencies in 13 states and two union territories go to polls today (April 23). Here are the latest details from the third phase of Lok Sabha election.

Elections are being held in seven phases and with the completion of the third phase, the election process will be completed in southern states. 

Pawar was addressing a campaign rally at Daund in Baramati Lok Sabha constituency from where his daughter Supriya Sule is seeking re-election. "Modi says he came into politics holding my finger. Some of the popular candidates up for election today are Union ministers Jitendra Singh, Jual Oram, Sadananda Gowda and Pon Radhakrishnan. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and former ministers Dayanidhi Maran and A Raja, and DMK leader Kanimozhi are also among today's candidates. Actor-turned-politician Hema Malini is the star candidate from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh.

While addressing a gathering in Karnataka's Karwar, Union minister Anant Kumar Hegde said that after phase two elections, people would go in search of Anand Asnotikar in Uttara Kannada, which is scheduled to vote on April 23

97 constituencies spread over 13 States and one Union Territory will go to polls in this phase on Thursday, April 18.
