Sources say BJP zeroed in on three seats out of 9 that are going to poll today and threw their entire organisational might to win those three seats in the last phase. 
 

Throughout the day, incidents of violence have been pouring in from across the state. Crude bombs were hurled in Rabindra Sarani area of Kolkata, whereas the car of BJP candidate Anupam Hazra was smashed in Jadavpur. 

Barely 12 hours before Bhatpara assembly goes for by-polls, violence has returned to the state. Not only crude bombs were hurled, but two vehicles were also burnt down. 

Though the BJP blamed Trinamool for Haradhan Mridha's murder, Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s party was quick to rubbish the allegations. This is a plot we have all witnessed time and again in Bengal over the last few months.

Trinamool Congress cadres allegedly attacked Samik Bhattacharya who is the BJP candidate from Dum Dum constituency, near Kolkata. His car was targeted near Nager Bazar area. Dum Dum goes to poll on the last phase amid extreme political faceoff between BJP and TMC.
