Tamil Nadu CM asserted that his government would be following the principle stated by Jayalalithaa – that Rajapaksa should be announced as a war criminal and put to trial at the International Court of Justice for the massacre of innocent Tamils.  
 

The trials are expected to be held in Delhi,  the company is working closely with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in this regard.

Justice Vijay Bishnoi granted relief to Sanchita Gupta alias Shilpi, who was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment by a trial court, on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and two surety bonds each of Rs 1 lakh.

The verdict was pronounced on a batch of pleas raising a question whether lawmakers facing criminal trial can be disqualified from contesting elections at the stage of framing of charges against them
