Tomy, 39, and Irishman Gregor McGuckin, 32, were injured after their boats lost masts in a storm at South Indian Ocean Friday while competing in the prestigious race.

Indian Naval officer Abhilash Tomy had suffered back injury on Friday after his yacht was hit by a vicious storm with 14-metre-high waves mid-way across south Indian Ocean.
