According to sources, violent protests have left 53 people injured Kulgam search operation after masses gathered in protest at the encounter site upon hearing gunshots fired in the area. 3 militants who triggered the gunfight with security forces managed to escape the house in which they were hid

Amid clashes in Shopian, the Army continued its operation till 3 am, but the militants could not be neutralised because of the volatile situation which provided the militants an opportunity to escape before being killed by the security forces

According to the officials, the operation started on Tuesday evening after they received specific input about terrorists hiding in Tazipora village of Kulgam district.

According to senior officials, Musa's messages and videos are being circulated widely. Terrorists are using this as a trigger for fresh recruits. Funeral pictures of Musa, in which people participated by the thousands, have gone viral
