A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved the life of an elderly man who slipped while boarding the train in Hospet, Karnataka.

After collecting the money, the accused created fake appointment orders and dispatched it to candidates through a fake email id.

The man tweeted his friend’s requirement of sanitary pads and painkillers, tagging the railway minister and the department. The department responded and delivered the needed materials on time.

During a meeting, it was pointed out that there was no place in the train to keep food which was to be served to passengers during the journey.

Sources report that the strike has turned into a hartal in the state of Kerala. Railway services were also hit in many places in the state in the first eight hours. Jan Shatabdi Express and Raptisagar Express were halted. Chennai Mail was blocked in Thripunithura.
