Kerala ministers EP Jayarajan, KK Shailaja, and the police have warned the protestors against creating unrest in Sabarimala. They have assured to extend protection to female pilgrims.

IG Manoj Abraham said that the police would provide all the security measures to any devotee who needs to worship Lord Ayyappa at the Sabarimala temple in Kerala.

After being informed about the protest, BJP workers started gathering at the office leading to a clash with Congress supporters. To avert any untoward incident, police rushed to the spot and used mild force
