The BJP has released its first list of candidates for the Haryana polls. Incumbent CM Manohar Lal Khattar is fielded from Karnal. 

In the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) election, Mohammad Azharuddin got 147 votes while Jain, who was standing from Vivek panel, received 73 votes. Independent candidate Dileep Kumar got three votes in the polls

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) received a bolt from the blue after its lone sitting MLA in Haryana joined the BJP on September 26.
