A spokesperson of Hurriyat has said that Mirwaiz will appear for the investigation in Delhi along with Hurriyat executive members, Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone and Masroor Ansari

During the investigation by NIA, it was found that Syed Hilal Andrabi, who was an active worker for JeM, provided logistics, weaponry, etc to the terrorists. He was currently residing in the valley. 

The people whose security cover has been withdrawn include 22 separatist leaders. They have been considered 'undeserving' of state protection.
