Bengaluru's City Crime Branch (CCB) launched a manhunt to arrest mining baron Janardhan Reddy, but there were reports that he was absconding. Reddy has now released a video where he is speaking along with his lawyer.

South Indian superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar teamed up for the first time in director Shankar's science fiction film 2.0. The trailer was launched on November 3 in Chennai.

The trailer launch of 2.0 was a grand event, which was held in Chennai, on Saturday, in the presence of the complete cast and crew. 

Six men were abducted and shot at by suspected militants at Kheroni in Tinsukia district. Four of them died on the spot, one at a hospital and the sixth is injured.
