State Election Commission in Tamil Nadu has said that the notification for the local body polls will be issued on or before May 31. SEC has submitted to the Madras High Court.

Till now, the income tax department used to issue refunds to taxpayers either in their bank accounts or through account payee cheques, on a case-to-case basis, depending on the category of taxpayers
