Two men ordering food shot at two canteen staff for asking them to pay for their food. The Madikeri police have arrested one of the accused and seized the CCTV camera to examine. Injured canteen staff have been admitted to hospital.

A collision between bus and tanker killed four people including a girl named Monisha. Four were charred to death and out of 22 injured, two are battling for their lives

The victims were travelling from Old Town in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, to a 'dargah' in Yellarti when the accident occurred near Pedahoturu village.

The bus, which was heading to Kolkata, crashed into the cement fencing of a bridge before breaking it and falling into the Dakatia khal canal near Gojarmore at around 9 am, district police chief Sukesh Jain told news agency PTI.
 

Bengaluru: One of the assailants began to attack the police constables Naveen and Shrinivas with a knife. To save the constable’s life, inspector fired 3 rounds,  in which the assailant injured his legs.

The injured, including a woman, have been rushed to a hospital.

The police said that low-intensity crude bombs triggered by timers caused the explosions. Several people were injured in the seven bombings, while one woman lost her life.

As per preliminary information, over 24 employees were working at the spot when the accident occurred
