Injured  

Six men were abducted and shot at by suspected militants at Kheroni in Tinsukia district. Four of them died on the spot, one at a hospital and the sixth is injured. 

Sources said that six young men were abducted by unidentified gunmen and were later shot near Brahmaputra river. Four people died on the spot and one succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital. Another injured person was rushed to the hospital. 

'Rehab was good. I passed all the tests and came here match fit. It is all fine. Obviously, it hurts when you are in form and get injured, Kedar Jadhav said

Renowned Tollywood producer Daggubati Suresh Babu has been booked for rash driving. Three people of a family, including a child, were injured in the accident.

At least 61 people were killed and 72 injured on Friday evening after several Dussehra revellers, who had spread onto the railway tracks while watching the burning of a Ravana effigy, were run over by a train.

More than 300 people were standing along the railway track to watch the burning of Ravan's effigy as part of the Dussehra celebrations near the Joda Phatak area of Amritsar.
