Agra’s Mrinal Agrawal has a background in mechanical engineering. Despite receiving job offers from abroad, he decided to support local farmers through various programmes. So far, he has provided employment to many villagers through his business of selling milk products and vegetables.

Radhakishan Damani, the founder of retail company D-Mart, is the 8^th richest person in the country. He launched his business with an investment of Rs 5,000 and today his company is worth Rs 1.44 lakh crore. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, (deceased) business tycoon, considered Radhakishan Damani as his guru in the stock market.

Neeraj Chopra was operating his family business in Hong Kong since he was 18. Due to some circumstances, he returned to India in 2012. Neeraj launched a new business in India. He began importing power banks and distributing them nationwide. He worked on a new idea and started repairing and selling old mobile phones. He sold around 100 mobiles in the first month and gradually the sales increased to 20 to 25 thousand mobiles each month. Neeraj Chopra’s company is now valued at more than Rs 50 crore.

Tanu Jain is an IAS officer from 2014 batch. She completed her schooling from Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri, Delhi. Tanu pursued a BDS degree from Subharti University, Meerut. She received immense support from IAS Vatsalya Pandit and cleared the UPSC 2014 exams by securing 648^th rank. Tanu Jain established a coaching centre named ‘Tathastu IAS.’ She makes short videos and reels and shares study tips with UPSC aspirants.

While doing his engineering, Ajmer’s Shobhit Soni came up with the idea of building a company for making kulhad glasses. He has around 42 plants all over the country and earns in lakhs.

Divya has successfully become an entrepreneur through the establishment of ‘Divya Lalitha Dolls.’ Divya holds MSc and BEd degrees. After completing her education, she worked as a teacher for a few years. Her husband lost his job due to the pandemic. At the age of 28, she commenced her venture of decorating dolls. She dressed a doll in a saree and received positive response. 

Jetaram Chaudhary grew up in a life of poverty, and despite all the challenges he faced, he established a company worth Rs 215 crore. Services like KYC, bill payments, money transfer, mini-ATM, ticket booking, e-Mitra are provided on the platform.

Gaurav Anand quit from his 16 years of corporate service to become an environmentalist. He runs an organization called ‘Swachhta Pukare.’ Gaurav responsibly cleans rivers with his team of dedicated individuals. He makes sarees by extracting fibres from water hyacinth and blending them with cotton. 
 

During the pandemic, Heramb Dixit lost his job as a Chartered Accountant and returned back to his village. The future seemed uncertain, so he decided to start his own business of milk production. Heramb has seven buffaloes and ten cows. He produces more than 100 litres of milk every day from his animals. Today, he makes lakhs of rupees in a month.

Chhavi Mittal is an Indian actress and a YouTuber. In the year 2007, Chhavi was first seen in a television show called ‘Teen Bahuraniyaan’. She is the co-founder of ‘Ideas Trending’, a digital production company.

Bhopal’s Mohammad Kashif had a deep interest in art and creativity since childhood. He represented India at World Art, Dubai, and earned global recognition for his unmatched talent. Mohammad Kashif holds five records under his name for various accomplishments. He has also been awarded the Rashtriya Ratan Award.

Yash Kalraa from Rajasthan left his job to start his own business. He named his oats brand ‘GoOats’. Since the launch of the company, more than 5000 products have been sold. GoOat products are sold in 5 flavours, coffee, strawberry, mango, chocolate and blueberry. 
 

Mumbai-based data engineer Akshay Ridlan has invented such a device which can be used to find the locations of missing persons. In May 2020, he had lost his dog, which prompted him to create such devices with QR codes on them. The lockets with QR codes were launched on 13 September by Dr Swati Piramal.

Amit Kashyap and Mannu Sharma are friends from Haryana. They moved to Mumbai to try their luck in running their own business. Mannu came up with an unconventional idea of opening a tea stall in their Audi car. Their business idea proved to be successful, and celebrities often visit their shop regularly.

Raksha Jha converted a double decker bus into a café. After completing her graduation, she wanted to venture into business, however, her ideas were turned down by her father. Looking at a decrepit bus outside a police station, she got the idea of opening her café. She received support from her mother and began with her project.
