After the tug of war between AIADMK and DMK to rope in DMDK, looks like AIADMK has managed to woo the party after all. The DMDK will now join the AIADMK with five seats to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Looks like there is storm brewing in the tea cup between Congress and JD(S) over the allotment of seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. While the JD(S) has demanded 12 seats, Congress’ Siddaramaiah has put his foot down saying the only criteria for seat sharing will be “winnability”.

Looks like DMDK’s alliance with the AIADMK turned out to be sour grapes and the party is now looking to join hands with the DMK-Congress alliance in Tamil Nadu. The official announcement is yet to be made along with the number of seats allotted to them.
