Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani has made a pivotal decision to complete the Colombo Port Project in Sri Lanka without external financial assistance from the United States. In a significant announcement, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) stated that it has decided to withdraw its request for funding from the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and will instead use internal resources to fund the project.
