The alleged murderer of Ramya, a 23-year-old teacher in Cuddalore was found hanging from a tree two days after he had killed her. The youth’s body was found by villagers in a cashew plantation in Thoppainkulam.

The BJP and the JD(S) have decided to continue their coalition in the Mysuru local body elections for the next two years. While the BJP feels this move will have a national impact, the JD(S) says local issues are diametrically opposite to those at the national level.
