Bihar Floods Death Toll  

Death toll in Bihar floods touches 42 and intense rescue operations are underway. Supervising rescue and rehabilitation work in Patna on late Tuesday night, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urged people to "have patience".

Death toll in the Bihar floods touch 42 and the BJP President in Bihar accuses the government of negligence in dealing with the situation.  Nitish Kumar on Tuesday visited the flood relief camps set up at Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna and said that all relief efforts are being made for the affected people in the city. 

The disaster management department has put the total number of people hit by floods in Bihar at 88.46 lakh in 1,269 panchayats of the 13 districts
