Superstar Rajnikanth was last seen in the blockbuster movie Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj and currently, he is shooting for the movie Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions.

Siruthai Siva is now the most wanted filmmaker after his massive Pongal release, Viswasam. As per reports, Siva was getting ready to collaborate with Suriya and Sivakarthikeyan in different movies.

As per Tamil TV reports, Siva met Rajnikanth today (May 28) in the morning with the script at his Pose Garden residence and reportedly is narrating the story. However, there is no official statement as of now, although the discussions are at the initial stage say rumours.

Darbar is being shot in Mumbai, and Superstar Rajnikanth will be seen playing the role of an IAS officer, while Nayanthara will be playing the female lead. Darbar also stars Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar as the villains. Darbar is slated to release on Pongal day of 2020.

Siva has directed Ajith in four movies- Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam and Viswasam. Apparently, all the movies turned out to be profitable and superhit except Vivegam.

As Viswasam turned out to be a superhit, producers have started to find out whether Siva has any good script in hand.

Interestingly Viswasam clashed at the box office with Superstar’s Peta earlier at the box office. While Rajni’s film not only did well in India but the other parts of the world, Viswasam performed well at the Tamil Nadu box office.
