The south superstar's first look as Major Ajay Krishna from Sarileru Neekevarru is out on Mahesh Babu's birthday, and his fans are going crazy. 

Director Anil Ravipudi shared the introduction video of Mahesh's character on his Twitter handle. "Happy Birthday Super Star @urstrulymahesh garu. Major Ajay Krishna reporting for duty. In the movie, Mahesh Babu plays an army officer named Ajay Krishna. In the 44-second video, we can see the handsome actor making an entry in an officer attire with background music replete with drum beats. Look at the location, we can easily say it was shot in Kashmir. 

It is said that this is the first time Babu is playing the role of an army officer. And he seems to have really nailed it with his avatar, looks like the uniform is specially made for him. If you don't believe us, check out the video here. 

Kannada actress Rashmika Mandana will be seen romancing Mahesh Babu in Sarileru Neekevvaru. Veteran actress Vijaya Shanti will also be seen playing a major role in the movie and this flick marks her comeback. The music of the film will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who has worked with Mahesh Babu in Maharshi and Srimanthudu.

Babu was last seen in Maharshi with Pooja Hegde, and it turned out to be the biggest hit for the  'Prince of Tollywood' as he is popularly called in the south. 

Sarileru Neekevvaru is produced by Dil Raj and will release on Sankranti in 2020.
