Actor-composer GV Prakash Kumar announced that Dhanush recorded a song called Pollathaboomi, featuring voices of Dhanush, Ken Karunas and Tee Jay
Tamil actor Dhanush, who became popular after his 'Why This Kolaveri Di' song in 2011 is all set to woo his fans again with his upcoming single Pollathaboomi. The song will also feature voices of Ken Karunas and Tee Jay.
Tamil actor-music composer GV Prakash Kumar took to Twitter to make the announcement that he has recorded a song with Dhanush, Ken Karunas and Tee Jay called Pollathaboomi.

The composer wrote, "Dhanush, Ken and Tee Jay sing a song together in Yugabharathi's lyrics. A peppy track on way for Vetrimaaran." Dhanush also tweeted that he had a lot of fun, while recording the song and that he can't wait for fans to listen to it.

Previously, Prakash-Dhanush have given fans songs like Pollathavan and Aadukalam. Asuran is directed by Vetrimaaran, which is said to be a revenge drama based on the Tamil novel Vekkai by Poomani.

The movie marks the fourth collaboration of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran after Pollathavan, Aadukalama and Vada Chennai.
In the movie, Dhanush will be seen playing dual role as father and son. Malayalam actress Manju Warrier will play the leading lady.
According to reports, Balaji Sakthivel has been roped in to play the antagonist in the film.
