We all were rejoicing the reunion of Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra after 10 years, with Bharat. But sadly, it seems we have to wait for some more time as Priyanka has backed out of the mega project
Quantico star Priyanka Chopra has walked out of Salman Khan’s Bharat, which is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and the reason appears to be American singer Nick Jonas.
Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed the news and also said that the reason behind this is “very very special”.

He tweeted, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her … Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life 😊😉😍 (sic).”
Well, by reading Zafar’s tweet, it seems he is hinting at Priyanka-Nick wedding. Though it will be interesting to see now as to who will step into her shoes for this pivotal role?
Priyanka and Nick’s relationship has been a hot topic in recent times. In fact, Nick also came to India last month to meet Priyanka's family and friends.
The duo also attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement ceremony, holding hands together, which added fuel to the rumour fire.
The couple has shared several images on Instagram accounts which show the relationship is official. According to international media reports, Priyanka and Nick are already engaged and will tie the knot in October 2018.
Priyanka was to begin shooting for Bharat from mid-August and was reportedly charging a hefty Rs 6.5 crore fee for her role, making her the third highest paid female actor, with Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut in the lead.
Salman had earlier welcomed Priyanka to the Bharat team with a tweet. She had also replied, writing, “Very happy to be a part of #Bharat and see all of u on set!! @beingsalmankhan @atulreellife @aliabbaszafar #Eid2019 (sic).”
Besides Salman Khan, Bharat also stars Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover in prominent roles.
