A few days ago, we reported that Aishwarya Rai's husband Abhishek Bachchan and his dad Amitabh Bachchan met and hugged her ex Vivek Oberoi. They also chatted for a while.

All were attending the felicitation event of badminton champion PV Sindhu which was held in Mumbai. Many videos and pictures of the stars surfaced on social media. In the video, we can see Abhishek and Vivek greeting each other with open arms and wide smiles.

While many appreciated this gesture of Abhishek and his family, some also slammed them. Now there is a report published in Deccan Chronicle saying that Bachchan Bahu, Aishwarya Rai is upset post the event. According to reports, 45-year-old Aishwarya Rai is not impressed with Abhishek-Vivek's 'over-friendly' hug in public. A source close to the couple said, "Aishwarya did not appreciate Ahishek's diplomatic hug. She wanted to know why Abhishek had to be so warm to Vivek Oberoi when he could have just said a polite hello and moved on!"

The source also added that Aish will never forgive Vivek for calling a press conference to rebuke Salman Khan's behaviour, "Unlike Salman Khan who never forgave Vivek Oberoi for calling a press conference to condemn Salman's behaviour regarding Aishwarya, Abhishek chose to forget how obnoxious Oberoi can be. Instead Abhishek would rather focus on the positives in life."

A few months ago, Vivek shared a meme taking a dig at Aishwarya Rai's personal life for which he received backlash. However, throughout the controversy, the Bachchan's family maintained a dignified silence.

The meme showed pictures of Aishwarya with him, another with Salman and a third with her husband Abhishek and daughter Aaradhya. The captions for each of the three images read, ‘opinion poll’, ‘exit poll’ and ‘result’, respectively.

According to reports, Vivek is the ex-boyfriend of Aishwarya Rai. The couple dated in the early 2000s and worked together in Kyun Ho Gaya Na.

Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The film has a massive cast, including Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Keerthy Suresh and Amala Paul.
