Mumbai rains are affecting not just the common people, but celebrities too. The weather department issued a ‘red alert' in the city and adjoining areas and asked the authorities to be prepared to handle any situation.

The latest video shared by Viral Bhayani, a celebrity photographer, shows waterlogged home of Amitabh Bachchan Prateeksha.

In the video, we can see Amitabh Bachchan's gatekeeper standing in knee-deep water. As soon as the video hit the internet, 76-year-old Amitabh Bachchan’s fans started worrying.

Fans started enquiring on social media about the actor and his family’s safety. Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwariya Rai, Jaya Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan live there. 

Not just the Bachchan family, many other Bollywood celebs are being affected by the rain. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, had to call off their events after heavy rains pounded Mumbai and its suburbs on Wednesday (September 04). Taking to Instagram, Sunny released a video, saying, "I do not want any of you to go through any inconvenience due to rains in Mumbai today. Hence, we have decided to postpone trailer launch. We will launch trailer tomorrow. Will keep you posted." 

Apart from Bollywood events, even media interviews were called off for the day, including that of upcoming Akshaye Khanna, Richa Chadha-starrer Section 375, among others.

On the other hand, Malaika Arora, who recently came back from Austria after a romantic holiday with Arjun Kapoor, took to Instagram to share her picture enjoying the rains. She is seen holding an umbrella and splashing water around.
