The note for Ryan, who turned 14 on Friday, read: "Can't play with you like this anymore, can't believe how fast you have grown up. Happy 14th birthday Ryan (SIC)."
The actress also shared a photograph in which she can be seen having a fun time with her sons Ryan and Arin. In the picture, Madhuri and her sons can be seen dressed in colour-coordinated black outfits and we must tell you that the trio looks absolutely adorable. The picture received lots of love with over 1 lakh likes within a few hours. The comments section was replete with birthday wishes for the actress's son.
Madhuri, who tied the knot with US-based surgeon Shriram Madhav Nene in 1999, gave birth to Arin in 2003 and Ryan in 2005.
In an earlier interview with a daily, Madhuri spoke about her love for "kids".
She said, "I wanted to enjoy new phases of my life. I wanted to have kids, and apart from work, I have had other dreams for myself which I wanted to fulfil. I love my sons and I wanted to spend good quality time with them during their initial years. So after giving birth to my sons, I didn't do films."
On the work front, Madhuri was last seen in Total Dhamaal co-starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaffrey and Arshad Warsi in key roles. The actor, who will next be seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank alongside Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles, also shared her first look from the film on Friday.
The actress shared her poster from Kalank, as Bahaar Begum, where she looked every bit graceful. While she didn't reveal much about her character, she captioned her first look poster as, “It was my honour to play such an enchanting character. Guys, here’s Bahaar Begum! #WomenOfKalank #Kalank.”
