Despite owning two houses, Priyanka Chopra talks of buying home, having baby

Priyanka Chopra is always in news for her work, love life and her fashion choices. Recently, she was seen with her husband, Nick Jonas and family in the streets of New York. Not just that, Priyanka's cute pet dog, Diana, too joined the family.

This month Priyanka Chopra has graced the cover of Vogue India looking super hot on the cover with a Boho style, while donning a thigh-high slit dress walking down the streets of NYC. During a candid chat with the fashion magazine, Priyanka confessed that having a baby and buying a home in Los Angeles are the top things on her to-do list.

The actress said, "For me home is wherever I'm happy, as long as I have the people I love around me. Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list."

She went on to add that getting settled in Los Angeles is a long term option for her as it is the perfect place for her and Nick. She said, "I have homes in Mumbai and New York, which are very vertical cities. LA is more horizontal," PeeCee said. Priyanka revealed the top two things on her to-do list. "Buying a home and having a baby are on my to-do list."

After three years, Priyanka is making her mini-comeback in Bollywood with Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink. Proclaiming that her roots are in India, she said, "Everything that I am today or am doing in America, I learnt in India. I'm just showing a perspective of it." The Sky Is Pink also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 11. 

She also talked about her upcoming projects, one which includes the pitch for a wedding comedy that has been picked up by Universal Pictures. "The story basically came from my wedding, where a bunch of Americans were exposed to this grandiose palace -- the food, the family, the culture, the clothes and the comedy that comes with it," she said.

"Everything that I am today or am doing in America, I learnt in India. I'm just showing a perspective of it. I taught myself confidence. I learnt it's what you do after failure that makes you a success," she said.

Priyanka Chopra along with Rajkummar Rao have been signed up for a Netflix film titled The White Tiger. The announcement was made by Ramin Bahrani who is directing the film which is based on Aravind Adiga’s prize-winning book by the same name.
