Rana Daggubati’s grandfather, D Ramanaidu worked in the film industry for more than 50 years. His father and uncle are film producers.

Ram Charan and Rana Daggubati studied from the same school. 

When he was a kid, he underwent a corneal transplant. He has partial blindness and cannot see from his right eye. 

After completing his schooling, he enrolled in a B Com programme, but did not complete the course.
