Kartik Aaryan is a Bollywood actor and model. He was born on 22 November 1988 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He completed his schooling from St Paul School, and Kids School, Gwalior. He earned a B Tech degree from DY Patil College, Navi Mumbai.

Interesting facts about Kartik

Kartik Aaryan started his career as a model. During his college days, he auditioned for several films for three years, but could not bag a role in any film. He even attended Creating Characters Acting Institute to hone his acting skills.

Kartik expanded his network by posting his modelling pictures on his social media accounts. Film director, Luv Ranjan came across Kartik’s Facebook page and offered him a role in his film. 

Kartik’s debut

In the year 2011, Kartik made his debut with the film ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama.’ He took a break from his engineering studies and completed them after the release of the film.

During his struggling days, Kartik lived with 12 roommates in a rented 2 BHK flat in Lokhandwala, Mumbai. 

He delivered a 5.29-minute-long monologue in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' (2011) and a 7.80-minute-long monologue in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2' (2015).

For his 2013 film ‘Akashvani’ Kartik ate 25 eggs daily to increase his weight. 

Changing the name

In the year 2014, before the release of his film 'Kaanchi: The Unbreakable', he changed his on-screen name from ‘Kartik Tiwari’ to ‘Kartik Aaryan.’

He seeks inspiration from Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
