Eldhose Paul is an Indian athlete and Indian Navy officer. He was born on 7 November 1996 in Kolenchery, Kerala. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He did his schooling from Krishnan Elayath Memorial High School, Alangad. His earned a graduate degree from Mar Athanasius College, Kerala.

Eldhose Paul is an Indian athlete who competes in the long jump and triple jump events. 

Since childhood, he had a strong inclination towards playing sports. He participated in many inter-school competitions. 

In the year 2016, he joined Indian Navy after completing his graduation. 

In 2021, Eldhose Paul played at the national level for the first time in the Indian Grand Prix 4 Patiala and won a gold medal. The same year, he secured first position in the National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship, Patiala. 

International debut

Subsequently in 2022, he participated in various triple jump competitions like Indian Grand Prix, Thiruvananthapuram, Indian Grand Prix, Bhubaneswar and Indian Open Jump competitions, Thiruvananthapuram. He also made his international debut by participating in the XXXII Kosanov Memorial, Almaty.

In 2022, he won gold medals at Indian Grand Prix, Indian Open Jump Competitions at Thriuvananthapuram, and National Federation Cup at Thenipalam.

Commonwealth Games 2022

Eldhose Paul is the first Indian to win a gold medal in men’s triple jump at the Commonwealth Games 2022. 

In an interview, Eldhose shared that his grandmother played a vital role in his sports journey. 

He won a bronze medal at XXXII Kosanov Memorial held in Almaty in the year 2022.
