Born in a small village Toksi in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, Vandana achieved what millions of students dream of. Without coaching, without guidance, just hard work and self-study!
Her father was in Delhi Police and mother was a homemaker. Vandana grew up in a village. Later her family shifted to Delhi, where she got better education.
Vandana studied at St. Columba's School in Delhi and always excelled. She had an interest in Math, so she did Maths Honours from Delhi University.
Vandana prepared on her own. She adapted to the UPSC pattern by taking the help of online resources, YouTube and NCERT books.
