A mother beat her five-year-old daughter to death because she hadn’t studied. The child died on the way to hospital, police investigating the matter.
Trichy: A five-year-old child was beaten to death by her own mother, simply because she hadn’t studied in Tamil Nadu’s Musiri area, near Trichy.
The mother, Nithya Kamala was enraged after her daughter Lathikashri didn’t study and beat her up.
The child suffered injuries and was rushed to a nearby government hospital. The authorities said that she needed to be taken to Salem government hospital for better treatment.
While the parents were rushing the injured child, she succumbed.
The police are now investigating the matter.
