Tamil Nadu: Man attempts to hurl slipper at chief minister, taken into custody

Thanjavur: An unidentified person attempted to hurl a slipper at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami while he was campaigning at Orathanadu Bus Stand, Thanjavur. The slipper, which was thrown from behind the chief minister, hit TMC candidate NR Natarajan instead. The man has been taken into custody by police for questioning.
