Cash worth Rs 50 crore recovered from residence of DMK leader Durai Murugan’s aide

Kalpudur: Stacks of cash worth over Rs 50 crore has been recovered from the residence of Durai Murugan’s aide Asgar Ali in Kalpudur in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Cash worth Rs 56 crore was seized. Earlier, stacks of cash was also recovered from a cement godown. The seizure comes just days after I-T officials conducted raids on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
