The Indian army swooped in to the rescue when a house was destroyed after heavy snowfall and rain in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. The entire village praised the army and wished them success in their endeavours.
Jammu and Kashmir: The roof of a house collapsed due to heavy snowfall damaging the entire property in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. 13 RR Naidkhai Army Camp, with a view to provide immediate support to the eleven family members of Mohammed Akbar, rushed to the spot showcasing the true sense and spirit of Op Sadbhavna (mission to save many precious lives).
Due to the heavy snow and rain, the family is shelter-less. The entire house has been destroyed. With the aim to provide quick and immediate relief against the chill weather, 13RR Naidkhai Army Camp erected a four-man shelter and provided additional winter clothes for the family.
The entire village praised the army and wished them success in their endeavours. These humanitarian acts by the army inspire people and bridge the gap between the army and the public.
